Summer evening at the hidden wonder, the beautiful Wigan Flashes

Theres nothing I like more than a nice late evening walk around my local nature reserve, Wigan Flashes. Theres such a broad mix of heritage in the area with both the canals and flashes being formed from the industrial past of Wigan.

My walk took me down the Leigh spur of the Leeds and Liverpool canal and up onto the highest point in the area. From there I was able to send my drone up to get some amazing shots of Scotmans Flash as the sun was setting.
