After taking the tricky decision to switch from Canon to Sony I decided to head out to Windgather Rocks in the Peak District to give it a try out. The weather was warm (if a little windy) and the evening sun was beginning to set.
After a nice walk along the bottom and top of Wiindgather, snapping photos sheep as I went, I decided on a location to catch the last of the days sun on the grassy slopes and rocky outcrop.
I was impressed with the performance of the Sony camera, if a little bit awkward to use due to its small size compared to my trusty old Canon. Once I managed to navigate my way around the menus to find some of the settings I was after I was able to capture the amazing orange and pink sunset as it cast its rays and shadows over Windgather, just before setting.
